age of 7, practicing on her home spot of Saint Leu. Thanks to her natural surfing talent, she quickly drew the attention of media and brands. In 2010 she became a professional surfer, winning the ASP Breti’ Girls Pro Junior. She confirmed her ability finishing 7th at the ISA word junior championship in New Zealand. Cannelle started her 2011 campaign finishing 2nd at the Rexona Pro Junior, wining the Billabong ISA World Surfing games (Open), the Billabong Pro Junior Sopelana as well and the Quicksilver ISA world Júnior Surfing Games, in Peru.

You won the Quicksilver ISA world Júnior Surfing Games, in Peru, and one month later the Billabong ISA World Surfing games. How do you fell about that?
Won under -18 was my goal but for the open I didn´t though about the tittle. The only thing I can definetly say is: I had a perfect year !!!!!!!!!
What is your favourite wave?
Saint Leu (Réunion), Trestle (California), La ponta (Mexico).
We notice a big improvement not only on your surfing approach but also in competition. What kind of training you had in order to have so good results?
Watch the other girls surfing and some WQS is a good way to learn.
Justinne Duppont has just been qualified for the world tour of next year! That gives you motivation to work hard and to compete among the best female surfers in the world?
Oh yes it's awesome, it is my friend and I really want to qualifie and to be on the WT with her in 2013 !!!!!!
What are your main goals for 2012?
It's the qualification for the world tour!!!
And in general, what are your goals for the near future?
If I have to stop surfing, I really don´t know what i will do, though.
What is your biggest dream?
A horse, definetly. One day I will go surfing not driving my car or bike, but on his back!!!!
