Five days before the Volcom Fiji Pro, a magnitude 6.3 earthquake has struck South of the Fiji Islands at a depth of

605.4 km (376.2 miles), the quake hit at 03:33:26 UTC Tuesday 29th May 2012.

 

The epicenter was 450 km (280 miles) WNW from NUKU'ALOFA, Tonga.

 

No Tsunami Warning Issued - No Reports of Damage or Injuries at this time.
