For the last 3 years our boffins here at GUL have been thoroughly researching , manufacturing & testing a wetsuit made using materials & processes that reduce our impact on an already fragile environment . We are very proud to the 'Recore' made from a limestone based neoprene ( avoiding using dwindling oil resources ) .

 

The 'Recore' uses recycled polyester ( Worldwide approx 1.5 million tons of waste PET plastic bottles are collected for recycling every year ) made from PET for the outside mesh & a recycled polyester & bamboo thermos pan lining , resulting in a very warm flexible suit manufactured with the least negative impact on the environment .

 

We are stoked that the 'Recore' has been chosen to keep Surfers against Sewage warm as they continue to protect our playground .

 

A very limited run of 'Recore' 3/2 wetsuits will be available this spring form GUL stores .
