DC Shoes Europe is proud to announce the launch of its latest Double Label â„¢ Project for Spring 2010, DC x Sixpack France, designed by PMKFA, which will be supported by a month long PMKFA installation at SIZE, Carnaby Street, London.

 

For the third and final installment in a series of DC x Sixpack France Double Label â„¢ Projects, DC and Sixpack France kept the design fresh with PMKFA, a graphic artist and member of the Sixpack collective.

The latest collection features a sleek, sober and monochromatic look on both the Admiral and Sector 7 shoes as well as a matching tee and a New Era fitted. The shoe’s insole and clear sole design give insight on PMKFA’s vision of street-entrepreneurship. Taking lessons from 90’s hip hop, the design represents life as a chess game – creativity, and the need to always be sharp, and the goal of making your next move your best.

The design concept behind the collection will be realized in an installation, created and curated by PMKFA at the SIZE Carnaby Street store in London. On the evening of Thursday 25th February there will be an intimate invite only official opening, in which PMKFA will be available for media interviews. The installation will then open to the public on the same day in which the shoes go on sale, Friday 26th February, and will run for one month in store.
