More than 50 participants were at Kuta Beach
People really do care about cleaning up Bali's beaches! The proof was seen on March 9th Sunday morning, 7 am to be exact, as more than 50 participants
chose to come down to Kuta Beach and pick up a whopping 240 kg's of trash off the sand instead of sleeping in, displaying an impressive level of commitment to the on-going crusade of keeping Bali's beaches clean.
The Sunday clean up crew was made up of staff from the Harris Hotel Kuta, the Hard Rock Hotel Bali, Grand Inna Kuta Bali, Mercure Hotel and Pullman Hotel, Quiksilver Indonesia, Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia, the Padma Boys Boardriders Club, the Halfways Boardriders Club, photographer Jason Childs and son Jackson, and led by the Coca-Cola-Quiksilver-Garuda beach cleanup crew. The end result was a spotlessly clean stretch of white sand from Kuta down to Legian, which both tourists and local alike got to enjoy on their Sunday fun day at the beach.
Let's keep up the good work everybody...and for those that didn't join this time we want to see you on Saturday March 22nd when we'll do it again!
