Portuguese surfed one of the biggest swells of the century
Forecasts previewed waves as big as 15 to 20 metres, with 100 km/h winds, ideal conditions for Nic Von Rupp to adventure himself in Ireland.
He participated yesterday, with a brave group of other surfers, in an historic surfing session, with some of the biggest waves of the last years, "sponsored" by the storm named "Hercules".
"It was an emotional day, with lots of adrenaline and I feel I delivered. In spite of the challenging conditions, I managed to catch some great waves, and that was my main goal", Nic said.
Von Rupp managed to have one of those waves mentioned in the famous newspaper "The Times".
In the next days, forecasts predict a "calmer" sea, but Nic will remain in Ireland, hoping for some more big ones.
