In Dec2014, Rip Curl Re-Opened the doors to its freshly renovated Flagship Store with a brand new concept at Paris Van Java Mall in Bandung.
The store renovation boasts an upfront main entrance with two big window display’s blending the Ultimate Surfing Company’s ethos and spirit, combined with a brand new Urban look and feel perfectly matched to the city.
Entering the store, high ceilings give an immediate relaxed and airy vibe providing the perfect shopping ambience, but also making for floor to ceiling product displays that showcase Rip Curl’s latest styles of Surf and Swimwear. Rip Curl’s new store concept consists of materials such as black and grey glass, grey mirror and materials combined with a wood finish that provide a more solid Urban feel.
Rip Curl’s vast product selection is carefully showcased with the use of new furniture designs. Video displays atop of each product section and special attention to lighting all over the store including above wall displays, in- shelving units and hidden in the furniture.
Another addition to Rip Curl’s new concept is a large format video wall behind the cashier that creates a sense of place, playing the brand’s latest Video show reel including current World Champion - Gabriel Medina and other team riders exploring the world surfing in the most idyllic locations on the Search.
The Rip Curl flagship store in PVJ draws inspiration from the charming neighborhood in which is resides, but like all other Flagships, this store provides the shopper with a brand experience and a showcase of its best products mixed in a relaxed, urban and comfortable setting that Rip Curl has become known for.
Rip Curl aims not only be the ultimate surfing brand in the beach cities but also in the urban cities such as Bandung, Jakarta, Medan etc.
