A surfer nearly drowned, but the fast response from Oahu’s lifeguards gave him hope.
It all happened in Makaha Beach, on the West Side of Oahu. A brazilian surfer got knocked unconscious by another surfer’s board, and was left drowning. Luckily, the expert and fast intervention of local lifeguards, got him back on land, where they performed CPR for at least eight minutes. According to the available updates, the surfer started breathing on the ambulance, that arrived quickly to the beach. The man is known to be in critical condition at this time.
