16 year joins Reef's ambassador's team
Reef announced San Clemente Surfer Tia Blanco as a head-to-toe Reef Ambassador. Her self-awareness, competitive passion, and her interest in a healthy and sustainable lifestyle make up the Reef Ambassador and future success story she is.
"I was raised the daughter of a Coast Guard, so traveling is second nature to me. I grew up in Puerto Rico, Hawaii, and California. I learned to surf when I was three years old at the famous Waikiki Beach on the island of Oahu. Surfing was in my heritage, but I didn’t start to surf competitively until I was about 12 years old. So far I've won two NSSA State Championships, and I rank number 6 in the world for ISA in my division. I’m a member of the Surfing America team, but I also enjoy painting and practicing yoga, while living a vegan lifestyle. My goals include a National Championship and Junior Pro event win, as well as an NSSA World Title. My ultimate goal is to travel the world, and in the near future make the ASP Women’s World Tour", you can read on Tia's profile, at reef.com.
